Return & Refund Policy


At Canada Plastics & Belting Inc., we take pride in providing high-quality plastic materials, custom-fabricated products, and industrial supplies. Please review our official return, cancellation, and refund terms below prior to completing your purchase.

1. Order Cancellations

  • Standard Order Cancellations: Cancellations requested by the client prior to dispatch are subject to a 10% administrative fee.
  • Non-Cancellable Items: Orders involving custom cut-to-size sheets, custom-fabricated materials, or opened packaging cannot be cancelled once processing/cutting has commenced.


2. Returns & Restocking Fees

  • General Return Eligibility: Seller approval is required for all returns. Returned items must be new, unused, and in their original packaging.
  • Restocking Fee: Approved returns are subject to a minimum 30% restocking fee (or as otherwise approved in writing by Canada Plastics & Belting Inc.).
  • Return Shipping Costs: Return shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the customer.
  • Return Window: Approved returns must be received at our warehouse within 30 days from the date of shipment.


3. Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Items

The following items are final sale and strictly non-returnable:

  • Custom cut-to-size sheets or custom-fabricated items.
  • Opened items or damaged packaging.
  • Items provided correctly as ordered.


Note: For cut-to-size sheet products, a standard manufacturing cutting tolerance of ±3mm (or more, unless explicitly specified otherwise on your invoice/quotation) applies.

4. Shortages, Transit Damages & Defective Goods

Our liability is limited strictly to the repair, replacement, or refund of defective goods proved faulty upon delivery.

  1. Shortages & Faulty Goods Claims: Must be submitted to Canada Plastics & Belting Inc. within 3 business days of delivery.

 

  1. Damaged Shipments (Carrier Freight / Parcel):

  • Inspect all packages immediately upon arrival in the presence of the delivery driver.

  • Clearly specify the exact damage or missing items on the carrier's delivery note / Bill of Lading (BOL) before signing.

  • Notify Canada Plastics & Belting Inc. within 5 business days of receipt and hold all original packages for carrier inspection.

  • Note that freight and parcel shipments are transported at the buyer’s risk; Canada Plastics & Belting Inc. cannot be held liable for transit delays or carrier breakage unless proper documentation is made on the BOL.


5. Manufacturer Warranties

Except as otherwise provided in writing on a formal quote, Canada Plastics & Belting Inc. disclaims all express or implied warranties. Claims related to defective raw materials will be filed directly with the manufacturer under their respective warranty terms.
